1. Fundamental Privacy Principle: Zero Cloud Egress

At MediaCraft, we believe personal privacy is a fundamental human right. Unlike conventional online file converters that transmit your sensitive images to remote cloud servers for processing, MediaCraft processes all media 100% locally on your own device.

Your photos, images, face data, and personal documents never leave your browser memory. Processing executes strictly within your private device environment. Once you close or refresh your browser tab, all memory buffers are instantly purged.

2. No Cookies Policy & ePrivacy (PECR) Exemption

MediaCraft adheres to a strict Zero-Cookie Policy. We do not use:

• No Advertising Cookies: We do not track you across websites or build advertising profiles.
• No Analytics Cookies: We do not store persistent tracking cookies in your browser.
• No Device Fingerprinting: We do not canvas-fingerprint or collect hardware serials.

Under Article 5(3) of the European Union ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC) and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), websites that do not store or access information on terminal equipment are legally exempt from displaying disruptive cookie consent banners.

3. Transparent Anonymous Usage Telemetry

To help us decide how to allocate serverless resources, detect processing bottlenecks, and identify which tools are most valued by users, MediaCraft transmits anonymous functional metrics to our privacy-first Cloudflare telemetry endpoint.

What is transmitted:

• Tool Name: E.g. Converter, Resizer, Compressor, or Location Remover.
• Functional Action: E.g. File dropped, processing completed, or download button clicked.
• Generic Format Tokens: E.g. Source format (HEIC) and target format (JPG).
• Processing Duration: Execution time in milliseconds.

What is NEVER transmitted or stored:

• No IP Addresses: Cloudflare client IP headers are discarded immediately upon request receipt and are never logged or stored.
• No File Names or Data: Your file names, folder paths, and picture pixels are never sent.
• No User Identification: No session IDs, accounts, or cross-visit tracking.
